If you happen to be like me, where you try to keep all your receipts so you know how much you spend daily, weekly, monthly so you don't go overbudget, then this app is for you. Flying Bird's ultimate money manager, FlyingMoney, is a convenient money manager which allows account balances, credit limit checking, transaction history tracking, as well as report generation. Now there's no need to flip up all the couches in your living room to find the lost receipt of your 2GB M2 stick last wednesday - all the history you need is in your phone.

The application is extremely user friendly. Once you have it set up and running, you get presented with the main menu on the left, which allows you to access every aspect of the application. Inputting transactions is as simple as writing it in your little booklet you keep in that hidden drawer - it's just as versatile and easy to use.

You can also filter transactions period to see periodic spending rather than the entire time period, find out the health of your accounts and your current credit balance, as well as generate reports to format your transactions.

Generation of reports is probably one of the main strengths of this application. Filters can be applied on specific fields in the report generation - something previously one might have only dreamed of - and the subsequent output can be formated for specific spreadsheet programs i.e. Microsoft Excel or OpenOffice Calc.

Best of all, this application is free. All that is required is that the user sign the software themselves - please refer to my entry on self-signing Symbian applications for details on that.
